So here at Kochie’s Business Builders we want to make it easy for Australians to connect with you and your business.  Whether you’re a butcher or a marketer, an accountant or a boutique brewery, our Small Business First Directory is a place you can highlight your incredible products or services.

We know the sacrifices Australian small businesses make everyday.  So now it’s our turn to put you first. Small Business First helps your business  to connect with consumers, as well as other businesses with special offers and deals. It’s our way to help you make and save money.

Why are we doing this?

Because the bottom line is we need our small businesses to survive. We need them economically for the millions of jobs and livelihoods they sustain. We need them for their rich diversity and cultural gifts they give our neighbourhoods. And we need their passion, their unbreakable spirit, to show us all that we can succeed.

We know we’re not alone in this mission. Many community groups and organisations are flying the flag for small businesses. We passionately join them to do our part in highlighting the businesses doing it tough, and informing all Australians on how they can do their part to keep their local businesses going.

Small Business First FAQs

Absolutely not! Small Business First is about helping businesses make money, not charging them. The directory is free and always will be.

Is your business Australian owned? Is your business small? Then yes, your business is eligible to be included in the directory.

The Small Business First Directory is a Kochie’s Business Builders initiative. We wanted to play our part in the recovery and rebuild of businesses from the various challenges we’ve had recently, and so built this platform  as a way of helping as many businesses as we could.

Up in the top-right corner of the screen you’ll see “Join”. You can sign up with email or social media accounts. Then we just need your business details – name, description, a nice photo/logo, address, website, social channels etc. Plus you can add extra content like articles and videos which will sit on your profile too. 

Nope, you can create a listing in the directory simply to show off your business without putting up a deal or promotion. And you can add a deal later on if you like, or remove a deal at any time. 

Not at the moment. We’re working on having more ways for you to make money directly on the directory, such as listing your products and offering gift vouchers. We’ll get there soon!

No, we don’t have any affiliate setup on the deals that you see in the marketplace. The purpose was to bring together the best offers from across the internet into one place to make it easy for you to find. If we think something is genuinely helpful and you may find value in, then we’ll pop it into the marketplace. But we’re not getting paid on the uptake in them.
